ECO Incentive Programme

On Site Malta specifically designed a programme for an incentive trip with minimal impact to the Environment.

Day 1
* The guests arrive in Malta and are greeted by our coordinator-guides.
* Each guest gets a mountain bike, equipped with a First Air kit, and a helmet to wear.
* We then set off to Wied Iz-Zurrieq, the area of the Blue Grotto and the Neolithic Hagar Qim temples.
* Here we take a break and have a picnic lunch, enjoying views of the Hagar Qim and Mnajdra temples, and the tiny island of Filfla.
* After the picnic, we continue towards the Hilton Malta, winners of the Environmentally Friendly Award in 2006.
* Check-in at Hilton Malta.
* In the evening the guests gather in one of the kitchens of the hotel where they will meet with the owner of Malta’s main Health & Natural food producing company “Good Earth”. Using their products, following the advise and with the assistance of one of the hotel’s chefs, the guests will prepare their dinner.
* After dinner digestive walk through St. Julians and Swieqi Valley.
* Overnight at Hilton.

Day 2
* Early morning gym & jogging session on the seafront.
* Fruit, cereal and juices breakfast.
* After an early check-out we walk down to the hotel’s yacht marina where we will board sailing yachts.
* One sailing yacht is allocated to every 6 people and the skippers will explain sailing techniques and code of conduct to the guests. After some time to familiarize with the yachts, the signal of the Gozo Regatta is given. Heading north-west, the sailing regatta takes the guests along the picturesque north coast of Malta, passing St. Andrews, Bahar Ic-Caghaq, St. Paul’s Bay and the St. Paul’s Islands, Mellieha and Armier, finally ending at the island of Gozo.
* The winning team is celebrated and we go ashore.
* On horseback we head for Gozo’s capital, Victoria,
* We go on a stroll through the medieval Cittadella of Victoria, ending at the small taverna “Ta’ Rikardu”, where the guests enjoy a Gozitan farmers lunch, consisting of all fresh local produce accompanied by freshly baked break and homemade wine.
* After lunch, we walk out of the Cittadella and head on foot to Ta’ Mena, a small domain found on the road leading to the fishing village of Marsalforn, where one finds organge and lemon trees, vineyards, fresh herbs, olive trees, etc.
* Here the guests first set up camp and are then invited by the owner to assist in picking fruit which is then afterwards used in the production of marmalade, jams, limoncel, etc.
* In the evening the guests are taught how to bake fresh focaccia bread in the wood oven and a special vegetarian BBQ dinner is prepared on the grill.
* Overnight in tents.

Day 3
* Early morning gym & jogging session in the garden.
* Fresh oranges and lemons are picked by the guests and squeezed to accompany the breakfast.
* After clearing up the campsite, we head by mountain bike to Marsalforn, pass by the ancient Salt Pans of Qbajjar and head towards Dwejra.
* At Dwejra, we strip down to swimwear and swim out via the Inland Sea towards the sailing yachts that lie hidden near the Azure Window.
* We set sail for Malta’s main fishing village, Marsaxlokk, hugging the cliffs on the south coast of Malta.
* In Marsaxlokk, the guests enjoy a fresh fish and sea-food lunch.
* After lunch, we head by mountain bike to the airport.
* Check-in for the return flight home.
